Spring has arrived in South Canterbury and temperatures more in keeping with summer than Spring!  Point Bush white wines Pinot Gris 2011 and Sauvignon Blanc 2011 are in the process of being bottled along with the  reds 2010 Pinot Noir and Canterbury Syrah.

The vineyard is looking tidy and we have just completed renovations of the Lodge to provide vineyard accommodation.   So a good time to call by and visit our Cellar Door for a Tasting of the Estate wines.

CELLAR DOOR is open daily 10 - 5   located Point Bush Road, Waimate

WINE TASTING - visitors are welcome to visit our scenic Lodge and try our wines produced on site

Our labels are works of art!

The Riesling 2007 label featuring the Fantails was a commissioned Artwork by Waimate born Artist, Maree White (Mouse).  From this commissioned work, our Fantail logo is now featured on our current labels.

The Point Bush Estates 2006 and 2007 Pinot Noir labels are artworks commissioned from Gregory Burns reflecting the vibrant autumn vineyard colours. Greg's art at   www.gregoryburns.com.

The Pinot Noir Rosé is named in honour of Scamp, the loyal and trusted companion of John, our employee. Scamp was a tireless terror for all rabbits and hares as well as any birds in the vineyard. He was full of life and could dribble and toss a rugby ball on his nose with great skill keeping busloads of visitors entertained. He was buried with his rugby ball.
