Our labels are works of art!The Riesling 2007 label featuring the Fantails was a commissioned Artwork by Waimate born Artist, Maree White (Mouse). From this commissioned work, our Fantail logo is now featured on the Pinot Gris 2008 label. The Pinot Noir Rosé is named in honour of Scamp, the loyal and trusted companion of John, our employee. Scamp was a tireless terror for all rabbits and hares as well as any birds in the vineyard. He was full of life and could dribble and toss a rugby ball on his nose with great skill keeping busloads of visitors entertained. He was buried with his rugby ball. |
