HOW TO CATCH A RAT? FREE URBAN TRAPPING WORKSHOP


Winter is coming and autumn food source for rats and mice will soon dry up and this is when the rodent population decides to "move indoors" to a nice warm environment and help themselves to whatever food source is around until the Spring when they will move back outside and start predating on nesting birds!

To help with the aims of NZ Predator Free 2050 and in the interest of reducing the local rodent population in urban and rural areas, Tim Exton DOC Pest Officer is running a
FREE 2 hour course on URBAN pest Predator Trapping to include psychology of rats and mice and ways in which you can trap in your own backyard.

If you are interested to learn how to trap these cunning rats and mice ....🐀....do come along to one of the free sessions being offered at the Point Bush Ecosanctuary Visitor Centre.
